Zum zehnten Mal in Folge schließen sich weltweit Banken zusammen, die sozial und nachhaltig wirtschaften. Unter dem Motto "Think Bolder" erzählen die Banken der Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV), welche Aktionen sie unternehmen, um den Alltag ihrer Kund*innen besser zu machen. 

Wir stellen das TrueName Feature vor: 
Damit können Menschen, die ihren Namen geändert haben, sowohl auf ihrer Giro- als auch Kreditkarte ihren echten Namen drucken lassen - ganz ohne Änderung im Pass. Mit dem TrueName Feature setzen wir uns als erste Bank in Deutschland gemeinsam mit unserem Partner Mastercard dafür ein, Gleichberechtigung und Selbstbestimmung für alle Geschlechtsidentitäten zu ermöglichen.

Wer steckt hinter der GABV?
Es ist die "Global Alliance of Banking on Values". Das sind mehr als 70 Banken weltweit, die nach strengen sozialen und ökologischen Kriterien arbeiten. Weltweit kämpfen wir für mehr Gerechtigkeit und eine Zukunft ohne fossile Energien.

Die GLS Bank hat das Netzwerk 2009 mit neun weiteren Banken gegründet.

Our campaign for Banking on Values Day! 

For the tenth year in a row, banks around the world are joining forces to do business in a socially and sustainably responsible way. Under the motto "Think Bolder", the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV) banks tell us what actions they are taking to make their customers' everyday lives better.

We introduce the TrueName feature:
This allows people who have changed their name to have their real name printed on both their debit and credit card - without changing their passport. With the TrueName feature, we are the first bank in Germany to work with our partner Mastercard to enable equal rights and self-determination for all gender identities.

Who is behind the GABV?
It is the Global Alliance of Banking on Values. 70 banks worldwide are part of the GABV and work according to strict social and ecological criteria. We are fighting worldwide for more justice and a future without fossil fuels.

GLS Bank was one of the ten founding Members in 2009.
